Overview

HelloKSlang Dictionary ("we," "this site," "hellokslang.com") is a free reference site for K-pop and K-drama slang. This page explains what information we collect, how third parties like Google use cookies on this site, and how you can control that.

What we collect

We do not have user accounts, and we do not run our own tracking scripts or analytics. The only information you might directly give us is through the "Submit a word" form, which is processed by a third-party service called Formspree. If you use that form, we receive whatever you type into it (for example, a suggested word and, if you choose to include one, your name or email). We use this only to review word submissions — we don't sell it or use it for marketing.

Cookies & advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, and to measure ad performance. Google may also use device identifiers for this purpose.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic — things like which pages are visited, roughly which country visitors come from, and how they found the site. This uses cookies and collects your IP address (in an anonymized/truncated form). We don't use this data to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's tracking-protection / "Do Not Track" settings.

Fonts & other third-party services

• Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google (and shares your IP address) when a page loads.
• Formspree — powers the "Submit a word" form. See Formspree's own privacy policy for how they handle submitted data.
• Browser pronunciation playback — the ▶ pronunciation buttons use your browser's built-in text-to-speech feature. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else for this.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us through the word-submission form, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your choices

Because this site has no accounts, there's no personal data tied to you to request or delete beyond what you may have voluntarily typed into the submission form. If you submitted something you'd like removed, just email us and reference what you sent — we'll delete it from our records.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add analytics or new third-party tools — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
